Editorial policy

How Meo Advisors Editorial researches, reviews and corrects.

Meo Advisors Editorial publishes analysis only after a drafting analyst and a different reviewing principal have checked its evidence, conflicts and conclusions. Primary sources support factual claims, AI assistance does not replace verification, and corrections remain visible. The team will skip the week rather than publish unreviewed. This policy explains the roles and the correction process.

In short

  • The drafting analyst prepares the analysis; a different reviewing principal signs it off before publication.
  • Primary sources, a conflict check and an original contribution are required.
  • We use AI tools for drafting, fact-check every published field and label material corrections.

Who reviews Meo Advisors analysis before it is published?

The drafting analyst researches and writes the post. The reviewing principal, a different person, checks the evidence, conflicts, analysis and presentation, then records sign-off in the CMS before publication.

The sign-off is recorded internally. If no reviewer is available, we skip the week rather than publish unreviewed. A timely topic does not waive the review gate.

  • The drafting analyst identifies the primary documents, checks the relevant dates and distinguishes confirmed facts from interpretation and open questions.
  • The reviewing principal verifies the sources, headline, body, numbers, links, image rights, alt text and structured data.
  • The reviewing principal confirms an original contribution: a documented observation, a concrete checklist change or a method note explaining the outside-in check.

How we source and verify claims.

Primary documents support factual claims. Reporting may supply context, but rewriting another publisher’s account is not an original analysis. Every number must trace to its source or to Meo’s approved facts.

We link the evidence, explain what it establishes and state its limits. We separate public observations from checks that need authorized access. Legal topics carry “Legal reference, not legal advice.” and leave legal conclusions to counsel.

The outside-in diligence method explains the access boundary. The diligence resources turn supported findings into checklists and open evidence requests.

Conflicts, confidentiality and independence.

Before drafting, we check the topic against active mandates and the pipeline. If Meo, or a sponsor it works with, is or may be on either side of a deal, we do not write the post.

  • No client information, private deal-room material or person names appear in the analysis.
  • We do not publish outside-in findings, scores or screenshots of a named company’s systems or sites.
  • No guest posts, vendor content or sponsored articles run under the Meo domain.
  • Images must be original or licensed, with descriptive alt text.

How we use AI tools.

AI-assisted drafting is allowed. The drafting analyst and reviewing principal remain responsible for checking every claim, title, description, alt text and markup field against the evidence before publication.

AI output is not a source. We do not publish automated posts, a templated post for every deal announcement or rewritten summaries of other firms’ reporting.

Dates and corrections.

The publication date records first publication and is never moved to make a post appear new. A material edit changes the updated date; a typo fix or a refreshed list of related posts does not.

A correction receives a visible “Corrected” note with the date and an explanation of what changed. Use the contact option to report an error, including the page and the supporting evidence. We assess the evidence and record any correction on the affected page.
