Mary's Place is standing in the gap from the moment a family becomes homeless until they find their forever home! We provide a welcoming and safe environment where women, children, and families experiencing homelessness can build community and find the resources and support they need to move into stable housing. Mary's Place began as a day center for homeless women in 1999 and has grown to meet the growing need in our community. Today, we operate four family centers and seven family shelters providing a safe place and resources for more than 600 family members - moms, dads, and children. Resources are offered for employment, housing, and financial needs. Discussion groups, classes, and on-site services provided by more than 40 local non-profit organizations contribute to physical and emotional health. Kids Club and other activities provide fun and community-building: arts and crafts, book groups, games, and singing are a few examples. We do this with the support of the community of volunteer!
